What is the OLAIAN brand?

OLAIAN, DECATHLON'S SURFING BRAND Based in Hendaye, in South West France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's surfing brand. In our offices at the water's edge, we can design a pair of boardshorts and then on the same day go surfing and test them to check that they stay in place in the waves, are comfortable and robust.

Quick drying

For their comfort, children need to get dry quickly. That is why these boardshorts are designed to allow rapid drainage of water (eyelet in the side pocket, drainage holes in the inner briefs). The component has thus been given a water-repellent treatment which prevents the fabric from retaining water and helps it to run off. This treatment, which can deteriorate after repeated washing, can be reactivated at any time by tumble drying the garment.

Waistband type

The semi-elasticated waistband of these boardshorts provides precise adjustment at the kid's waist. It keeps the shorts in place when surfing and prevents them from moving too much during manoeuvres.
