Its mechanical vents will allow you, during strenuous activity, to ventilate the jacket and wick away perspiration.Caught short in a rain shower? No problem. This jacket is water-repellent (water droplets run off the fabric) and means you can take on drizzle or fine rain. Caution: This jacket is not waterproof.

Additional features
This softshell jacket 500 is made with a tear-resistant fabric and features reinforcements at the shoulders and forearms.The fabric is composed of two taped layers: The inner fleece layer is also windproof, providing good thermal comfort as long as you're not static (but active). Please note that this model isn't particularly suited to cold weather.
