Description

Designed for frequent bike rides of less than 1 hour, with a 60° torso angle. Suitable for all body shapes: men and women.

Features:

270 mm x 160 mm

Compatibility:

Compatible with all brands of seat post with 7 mm rails.

How to choose your saddle according to your riding style

The right saddle for your posture: Upright position (90°) → Wide and soft saddle with gel Hybrid position (60°) → Versatile saddle: neither too wide nor too narrow Sport Position (30°) → Thin saddle with narrow peak to free up the perineum

Choosing your saddle width

Developed with Decathlon SportsLab, this saddle is available in two widths, approved by morphological tests. 145 mm for a sit-bone gap of 90 to 120 mm 155 mm for a gap of 120 to 140 mm In the event of an upright posture, choose a 155 mm saddle to avoid uncomfortable pressure areas.

Watch the tutorial video to measure your sit bone width:

You can also watch our tutorial video which will explain all the steps described above: https://players.brightcove.net/3415345270001/DOHosj6Wy_default/index.html?videoId=ref:p2575062_1

Making the most of your ride:

A properly adjusted saddle is essential for comfort and preventing pain. Choose a model suitable for your posture (60° back for example). Adjust the height for a natural leg extension, the angle for comfortable support, and the forwards/backwards position for aligning your knees with the pedals. These adjustments optimise pedalling efficiency and increase riding pleasure.

1. Determining the saddle height (part 1):

Step 1: Take a tape measure, hardback book and pencil. Step 2: Stand, barefoot, heels against a wall, feet 15 to 20 cm apart. Step 3: Slide the book between your legs up to the perineum. Step 4: Mark the top of the book on the wall. Step 5: Measure from the ground to your mark. This height corresponds to your inseam, essential info for choosing the right bike size.

1. Determining the saddle height (part 2):

Simple adjustment for a better ride. Measure your inseam and multiply by 0.883. This is the perfect height between the bottom bracket and the saddle for smooth pedalling.

2. Adjusting the saddle angle:

Tilt your saddle like a pro: - Take a spirit level - Place it between the centre and tip of the saddle - Adjust until horizontal - Try it on several rides until you find what is most comfortable.

3. How to measure your sit-bone width

Finding the correct saddle couldn't be easier: - Take two pieces of cardboard, a flat stool, a ruler and a pen. - Place the cardboard on the stool and sit on it with your back straight.Apply firm pressure for one minute. - Stand up and check out the two impressions you have left. - Mark their centres and join them with the ruler. This is your sit-bone gap! It will help you find the most comfortable saddle.

3. Adjusting the saddle setback:

Adjusting the saddle setback: all too often overlooked A proper knee/pedal alignment to prevent pain. Sit on the bike, with the crank horizontal. If your knee is in front of the axis of the pedal, move the saddle back. If behind, move it forwards.
