Our design teams developed this buoy to allow open water swimmers to be spotted by boats or rescue services.
Safety during open-water swimming:
When swimming in open-water, you are strongly advised to use a buoy so that boats and the rescue services can find you easily. The buoy also serves as a resting base when the swimmer is tired or has cramps. There is a whistle attached to the buoy so you can signal your presence audibly if necessary.
DIMENSIONS
Deflated: 40 cm x 75 cmInflated: 30 cm x 55 cmThe belt is adjustable between 75 cm and 125 cmThe strap is adjustable between 50 cm and 90 cm
BUOY POSITION:
The strap of the buoy should be adjusted to ensure that it is positioned above the swimmer’s rear upper leg.
TOP TIP:
The net is on the side in the water to keep your supplies cool!
HOW TO INFLATE YOUR PRODUCT
For this buoy, you must make sure the bag is closed: put your things in the bottom and middle of the buoy, slightly inflate each valve, expel most of the remaining air, roll up the closure, fasten at the 3 attachment points and inflate the remainder of the 2 chambers. This way there will be no air inside nor will the buoy deflate.
Want to swim peacefully? The open-water swimming buoy is essential for marking your presence at the surface. The bright colour will make you visible to boats, rescue services and even friends!
