Flip-flops are summer shoes made of a simple rubber sole that is held on the foot by a strap passed between the first two toes of the foot or by straps crossed over the instep. Easy to put on and take off, they leave feet bare and let the air get to them. They can be worn in the water and on sand, letting you walk over a burning hot beach.
