Construction

Expanded polystyrene core with 3 wood stringers. New Hot-laminated polyethylene coating on the core to limit water entry and improve the rigidity. High density polyethylene base.Wax before use to avoid slipping.

Mounting

Swallow tail 6’6 surfboard supplied with: 3 identical fins with the same screw size, 1 plastic tool for tightening and 1 double swivel urethane leash. In just a few minutes, your board is ready to go in the water, and there’s no risk of you setting it up wrong. Also, regularly check that the screws are tight to ensure a good seal and that the leash is securely fastened for added safety.

Precautions for use

Sun and high temperatures are to be avoided. This can cause the coating to delaminate. Store your board in the shade and not inside a vehicle. Tighten the fin screws regularly using the tool supplied to minimise water entry.If you transport your board on a roof rack: we recommend putting the board in a bag. The strap may damage the rail.

Using the leash

It is compulsory to use the leash at surf spots.CAUTION : never hold your board with your hands or fingers wrapped in the cord. This can lead to serious finger injury. Properly install the leash by checking the attachment to the board. Practice removing the leash from your ankle in the event of a problem.
