Hcs: high conical structure

We developed the HCS concept by increasing the conicity of the blank by more than 20° at the butt. This makes for an ultra-powerful rod that lets you comfortably battle large fish while maintaining a thin tip for maximum sensitivity, meaning you feel even the slightest bite. With HCS, you get power and sensitivity in one.

Reel recommendations

We recommend using a 5000-size reel with this ILICUM-500 360 V2 rod with a 16/100 braided line or a 30/100 nylon line.

Ilicium v2: what does it mean?

After taking into account your feedback, we’ve made some improvements to the product. By replacing the SEAGUIDE guides with the FUJI K FAZELITE guides, we’ve improved oxidisation resistance. This also provides better balancing for the rod.The blank is also more resistant, with a new composition combining the best carbons on the market (24T and 30T).
