Unlike the SUPREM, the POWER rod is designed for casting heavy loads over long distances. To illustrate the point, we were able to cast the 150 g sinkers easily over more than 150 m with the 13’ version, and 130 g sinkers over more than 130 m with the 12’ version.The key here is to firmly compress the carbon fibres (24/30 T) to get the best performance out of the blank. Before casting, check that the joints are properly assembled. A poorly inserted spigot is the main cause of rod breakage.Casting with a dry leader increases the risk of breaking your line. To avoid this problem, you can moisten the body of the line before casting.
