Using a vice, secure the wheel removal tool, place the wheel on top and turn it:this is the simplest and most effective method.
Without a vice, work in an upright position as you would with a chain whip.Insert the tool, use a 24 mm (or 1/2") wrench and turn counter-clockwise.Apply pressure with your body weight, keeping your hand at the end of the handle, to maximise leverage and facilitate removal.
