Directions for use

You should be lying flat on the bodyboard when catching waves, by positioning your hands under or on the handles. this will allow you a good hold on the board. Be sure to wear a long-sleeved anti-UV top or a wetsuit to avoid chafing on your arms and torso.

How to catch a wave with this product

Designed to catch and glide on waves by the sea shore, this product can be used where kids or adults can touch the bottom, in water up to the belly button. As a small broken wave passes (<50 cm) pushing off using your feet, aiming towards the beach, and lies down on your belly on the bodyboard, with hands on the handles, arms bent and legs stretched out behind. It is not necessary to use fins.

The epp (polypropylene foam) is the material that the bodyboard is made of, but what is it?

We have changed the material, and reduced the environmental impact by 29%. This new material is EPP (polypropylene foam)EPP is composed of 95% air and 5% material, these polypropylene balls are inflated in a mould to 20 times their size in contact with steam to create the foam that makes up the bodyboard.Additionally, this process does not need to use glue. Manufacturing a board in EPP does not generate any waste, and the material is 100% recyclable.

Can be recycled

this bodyboard is designed to last, if, despite all the care we have taken in its design, you are not satisfied or no longer want it, do not throw it away.Bring it back to the store, it will help our research on recycling. Depending on its condition it can be resold or sent back to our supplier in Portugal who can reuse the material to make other boards.

Additional information quality approach

By following a rigorous method based on laboratory tests and/or field tests with users, we compare products of the same type and which meet the same use. By identifying the weak points, we have improved the design of this product and enhanced its quality. This model is 39% more resistant to deformation than the previous Bodyatu model.

How do you choose your bodyboard size?

The size of the bodyboard directly influences its stability and ease of handling. It must be suited to the size and weight of its user. This bodyboard is therefore designed for kids (from the age of 4) and adults weighing between 15 and 85 kg.A bodyboard that is too small will not float enough so you will miss waves. A bodyboard that is too big will be difficult to handle.Only use in lifeguarded swimming areas.
