To help you improve, we've created a gi that meets all your needs: correct sleeve length, no seam down the back, looseness at the shoulders, and a fitted waist so you can move with ease. And with the rice-grain and diamond patterns, it looks right at home in the dojo.And the bottoms? They're more durable at the knees for floor-based combat and have a traditional cord fastening at the waist.

The thickness of the fabric is expressed in grams per square metre. This is called grammage. For aikido, it's best to have a gi made from durable fabric that holds up to both tight grips and the washing machine as well!That's why we chose a fabric in 65% cotton and 35% polyester: it holds up better to pulling and washing.And at 550 g/m², it's the perfect weight for intermediate aikidoka!

Uniform sizes range from 160 to 190 cm. We recommend that you choose a uniform at least 5 cm larger than your height.For example, if you're 1.75 m tall, choose a 1.80 m uniform.Here's a guide to help you choose: - 160 cm: XXS-XS / Bottoms size 6-8- 170 cm: S-M / Bottoms size 10-12- 180 cm: L / Bottoms size 16- 190 cm: XL / bottoms size 20The sizes specified in this guide are based on a man's build. For a woman, go one size up.

We suggest airing out your uniform after every use. To keep it white, be sure to wash it regularly. One pointer? Wash on a cold wash for the first few times. After that, you can wash it in temperatures up to 30°C. When you dry it, it's best to let it air dry and never use the dryer.
