To obtain the best possible image when standing or crouching with a telescope or camera, we recommend using a tripod. Without a tripod, the closer you zoom in, the more you cause micro-shaking that prevents you from clearly discerning the animal or the scene you are observing. The 1/4" platform screw is compatible with all cameras and spotting scope devices. Screw the head onto your camera for easy attachment or removal from the tripod.

This telescope / camera tripod can be used to take macro photos of flowers or insects. To do this, remove the central stem from the tripod by pressing the button next to the hook. Turn the stem over and insert it from the bottom, paying attention to the male / female groove which must fit together. Press the button to insert the stem. And you’re ready to go.Please note: the hook at the end of this rod allows you to weight the tripod for added stability.

The head pivots through 360° on 2 axes, so that it can be aimed precisely in any direction. Can be used with binoculars, but requires separate binocular support platform (part no. 8862046).Note also: the legs can be folded into 3 sections for easy use when standing or crouching.
