Make sure that the charging port cover is closed before you clean your bike. Make sure that there is no water and/or dirt in the battery extender's plug. Turn the system off before cleaning. Wash off any dirt with a low-pressure system or use a soft brush to remove dried-on dirt.Make sure that the battery extender's plug is completely dry before connecting it to a charger or your bike.
