Our design team has developed this hood especially for surfing and bodyboarding in winter, in waters between 12°C and 17°C.
Made with 2 mm neoprene, it provides thermal comfort for the head and neck when duckdiving to avoid the "bar" phenomenon during winter sessions.

Materials
The built-in hood of the Olaian 500 is made of 100% neoprene for better comfort during use.The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for increased resistance to wear.Neoprene thickness: 2 mm.The neoprene is composed of an elastomer foam which has insulating properties. We test and guarantee the quality of our neoprene materials.
Watertight assembly
The seams are stitched and glued to guarantee waterproofing and resistance.The seams are "blind-stitched". the thread does not go all the way through the neoprene, preventing water from getting through.The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing.Comfort and reinforcement patches are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.
Windproof
We have added smooth windproof neoprene elements to reduce the chilling effects of wind.This material improves comfort and reduces shivering.
Recommendations for use
Be sure to position the internal flap of the suit in order to limit water seepage.
