Description

Our design teams have created this kit for a better snorkelling experience thanks its tempered glass mask and its soft valve snorkel.

Snorkelling safety

Snorkelling is an easy and fun activity for all the family! Breathing through a snorkel is more physically demanding than regular swimming. If you feel tired, short of breath or dizzy, remove your mask and snorkel and get out of the water. The use of this product is not recommended if you have cardiovascular problems (chest infection, angina, asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc.). Consult your doctor if in doubt

Valve

When freediving, water can enter the snorkel due to immersion or splashing. The valve located at the bottom of the snorkel makes it easier to expel water. Thanks to the valve, most of the water is drained from the bottom, which means the user does not have to blow out so hard. This is unlike a conventional snorkel where the water is drained from the top.

How to use the valve

Simply blow out gently to empty the snorkel through the valve. After breathing out, be careful when you breathe back in; inhale slowly as some residual water can remain in the snorkel. When in doubt, do not panic: raise your head out of the water and the snorkel will empty itself instantly through the valve. High-speed intensive swimming is not recommended as it can move the valve and cause water to enter.

Valve maintenance

Sometimes sand or salt gets stuck between the valve and the hard part of the snorkel, this prevents the valve from correctly lying flat and ensuring a watertight seal. In this case, simply rinse the snorkel thoroughly with clean water and check that the valve lies flat.

Mouthpiece

Part of the snorkel that is placed in the mouth. Its specially designed shape makes it one of the most comfortable snorkels for your mouth.

Snorkel tube

The size and volume of the snorkel are suitable for an adult's breathing.

Wave guard

The deflector is the part located at the top of the snorkel. Its curved shape creates a protection limiting the inflow of water through the top of the snorkel.

Sizing

Size M is designed for thin faces and the size L covers wider faces.

Silicone

Silicone is an extremely flexible material. A silicone skirt conforms gently to the contours of the face, creating a watertight seal. The silicone mouthpiece provides greater comfort in the mouth area.

Tempered glass lenses

Tempered glass is two to five times more robust than traditional glass. If it shatters, it breaks into small pieces, reducing the risk of a major accident.

Accreditation

Mask certified compliant with safety requirements according to European EN 16805 standards: 2015. Certified by the INPP (French professional diving institute).

0% PVC

This mask and snorkel set contains no PVC.

Dimensions of the set

Width: 21 cm. Height: 41 cm. Thickness: 8 cm.

The 520 snorkel mask kit provides the user with comfortable breathing and good facial support. Easy drying thanks to the net.

Easy dressing

Fabric strap that doesn't pull out hair. Built-in snorkel clip.

Water drainage

Any water in the snorkel is easily expelled through the valve.
