Equipment description

Manual Type 1 braking device, devices for abseiling descents without friction-adjusting features. An attachment point for connecting the harness with a locking connector compliance with the EN 12275 standard. To be used on static ropes in compliance with the EN 1891 standard, Type A with diameters between 9.5 and 10.2 mm, and Type B with diameters between 9 and 9.5 mm.

Information

It is advised that the eight of the 100 should only be used by qualified and/or duly skilled individuals, or by a user under the direct monitoring of a qualified and/or duly skilled individual. The free end of the rope must always be manually controlled.

Braking

Depending on diameter, sliding factor, and moisture levels of the rope, amongst other factors. Take into account the fact that the commercial diameters stated for ropes have a tolerance margin of +/- 0.2 mm. The diameter of rope and its characteristics may vary depending on its use.
